The story of La Vie

It all started when I moved from Norway to the big foreign country. The place was France and the year was 2016. At the age of 23, I was going to live my dream of playing handball abroad and moved to the French city of Nantes. 

There I met many wonderful people and one of them was Richard, the man who worked in the club but who also worked for a large cosmetics company. The company was owned by the team's president Ponroy and we also often got to test the products. There were products with a focus on quality but also a term I hadn't heard much about in Norway at the time: organic/ecological. Now this term is here to stay and I am very keen that my online shop should reflect this. 

 

Me and my friend Richard had countless conversations about how we were going to get these French products to Norway, and start a collaboration. The years passed and we kept in touch even after I moved from Nantes. After several years in France, I have really seen how far they are in the field of cosmetic and health products and the thought of bringing them to Norway was an exciting thought. 

In 2024, LA-VIE started the adventure. The word La vie means "life" in French. A beautiful word inspired by my time down there, but also where the diversity of the products originates. Products from Richard were the start of it all. Furthermore, we have received other different products from France, but also other countries and will constantly try to renew ourselves and increase the diversity for our customers. 

The company's focus is on offering quality products that work. Organic, vegan and natural products are what we focus on. We will be able to offer products that may be difficult to obtain here in Norway.
